For Boats, Cars, Campers

We have space available for your boats, campers, and seasonal cars. The cost is $15 a linear foot (Boats and trailers make sure to include the tongue and motor).

Storage is enclosed and locked - unheated.

Vehicles can be brought in during two Saturdays in October starting at 8am.

The 2026 dates are October 10th and October 24th (8am-10:30am). Spots are first come first in.

The vehicles are always let out the last Saturday in April - April 24th 2027.

Change in communication
Please note: effective immediately, Rice County Fair Board will no longer send out postcards by mail, rather inform you by email and/or text messages.
Please ensure that your phone number(s) and email addresses are correct on the contract.
 

Our rules:

• Rental Fee Schedule: $15.00 per foot (including tongue and motor). Minimum charge is $100.00

• Payment is due upon check-in. Cash, check (made out to Rice County Fair) or CC (+3%)

• Storage Space available on a first come, first serve basis.

• Storage period is from October until the last Saturday in April.

• The building used for storage is unheated; therefore, any stored item that needs winterizing is the responsibility of the owner.

• If stored item leaks, owner is responsible to bring in something (i.e. drip pan, cardboard, etc.) to place underneath to protect the flooring of the building.

• The Rice County Agricultural Society DOES NOT carry insurance on any stored item. INSURANCE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER.

• The property the vehicle will stored on is Rice County-owned property and if stored in a building, those buildings are Rice County-owned buildings.

• The renting party agrees to indemnify and hold harmless, Rice County of all liability related to lost, stolen, or damaged property that does not result from negligence on the part of Rice County.

• Renting parties agrees to be solely liable for any damage to any Rice County buildings and/or property as well as all necessary clean up as a result of the renting party storing their vehicle on Rice County property.
  All batteries should be removed on the date of storage.

• Full payment is required on the date of storage.

• There will be a $50 charge in addition to the rental charge for all returned checks.

• There will be an additional $50 fee for storing on other than the published dates.

• There will be an additional $50 fee for retrieving on other than the published date.
